Talk:Emergent shared understandings
From Meta Collab
Aside from adding and expanding the initial material, I've changed 'understanding' to, 'understandings' - not sure if you agree, but seems to me that a single understanding can't exist in isolation. Unless the term 'shared understanding' is referring to a process as opposed to a specific nounish instance... Hmm, interesting... I also removed
- "Developing shared understandings not just of challenges and opportunities, but also what is being taken for granted."
as it seemed like that was covered by
- "With this in mind, coming to a better conception of a collaborative group's shared understandings regarding a collaboration's objectives and process, as well as of the concept of 'shared understandings' itself, might help enhance the overall outcome as well as expose hidden assumptions."
don't know what others think though?? -- Mark Elliott 00:17, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Some bits to do
-add ‘emergent' aspect - perhaps rename the article to 'emergent shared understandings'
